Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on TimeDoctor.org Live

Here’s three hours of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at 720p60. I can’t believe how well MGS V has merged open-world exploration and stealth action along with X-Com style base building and each component is done better than any other similar game. Some games stagnate as sequels stack up, MGS isn’t one of them.

With every sequel Metal Gear Solid sheds its skin and becomes something new. Kojima fools us each time into thinking that this new MGS is like other sequels and to buy it in the comfort of finding something familiar. The band-aid is ripped off quicker than ever in Metal Gear Solid V, in a little more than an hour you will already be surprised and then find yourself doing similar things to what I’m doing in that video and there are still many more surprises ahead.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Windows Multiplayer Beta on nuclearmonster.com live

I got a chance to play the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta on Windows today. Here’s the footage from the live stream of my first hour or so with the game. It looks like Treyarch has done a great job with the Windows version. The FOV and FPS police should be happy with the options in-game, but I’m sure they’ll find something else to complain about.

Here’s my suggestion: Linux/SteamOS support.

Waveform on TimeDoctor.org Live

There’s this action-puzzler on sale for just 19 cents right now on Steam called Waveform, at that price who could pass it up. Linux, Mac, Windows. I like it and put together that quick gameplay video.

Grow Home on TimeDoctor.org Live

Grow Home is going to be put out on the Playstation 4 soon so I thought this would be as good an excuse as any to go back and play one of my favorite games from earlier this year. You can get it right now on Steam, and I would recommend that you do so. It’s an amazing game.

Temper Tantrum on TimeDoctor.org Live

Don’t buy Temper Tantrum unless you want to gift it to a friend and pass the curse of how awful it is on to them. This game is terrible. After recording the video I consulted the wisdom of the Temper Tantrum Steam forum and found out that the assets in the game are all from the Unity asset store. Not that you couldn’t make a good game with Unity assets, but in this case there seemed to be minimal effort into what could have been a Rampage or King of the Monsters style game.
